Will Archey died Saturday night at 8 o’clock at his home in Veedersburg, of tuberculosis of the kidneys. The body was brought to this city Sunday and taken to the residence of his grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Reynolds, from which place the funeral occurred Monday at 2 o’clock p.m. conducted by Rev. S. W. Goss and Rev. A. E. Tinkham, of Veedersburg. The interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

William Archey was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine A. Archey, and was born in Tippecanoe County, November 29, 1872. He was married September 20, 1895 to Miss Etta Tribby, of New Richmond, who survives him.

Mr. Archey was engaged in the stock buying business with his father in this city and county for a number of years, but a year ago he purchased a hardware store in Veedersburg. His health began failing last summer and he spent the winter in Florida in hopes of arresting the fatal disease, but his stay there was of no avail, and he returned from the south several days ago, and has since been failing rapidly. Mr. Archey was a splendid young business man who made many friends. He was a member of the Methodist Church, living a life consistent with his religion and his early death is deplored by all, the sympathy of the community being extended to his family in their bereavement.
